VirtualNess Programming is FREE - Please Don't Get Scammed
Since our festival cancellation, we've been working really hard to make sure that we are able to bring everyone some Ness magic to the comfort of your own homes.
From Friday July 17 to Sunday July 19 2020, we'll be hosting VirtualNess! Enjoy livestreamed concerts, Zoom workshops and an online scavenger hunt (winner will be taking home 2021 Festival Passes!) over the course of the weekend.
NessCapades Scavenger Hunt
We've put together a super fun scavenger hunt that can be done from the comfort of wherever you are! There are so many ways to earn points - make your own Dashaway, eat pie for breakfast, show off a Ness cut - we've cooked up quite the menu of Scavenger Hunt tasks to bring some Ness magic to your weekend. And what better way to spice things up than adding a prize - the winning team will take home passes to our postponed 30th Anniversary festival in 2021!

11:00AM - Zoom Event - Anti-Racism Workshop
Anti-racism education benefits everyone. Learning about anti-racism and practice is a lifelong process. This work helps everyone to understand Indigenous struggles and contributes to rebuilding relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. This work has many benefits including taking responsibility for learning, unlearning, and relearning, developing bridging opportunities within and among culture, knowledge, and practice, and increasing our capacity through Indigenous knowledge, land and culture. I hope sharing my anti-racism education and practice journey will help to transform us and create our sense of belonging in regards to who we are and what we should do.
